1. What is a Cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It allows us to recognize your device and store certain information about your preferences or past actions.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
PokéFolio only uses technical cookies that are essential for the proper functioning of the website. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, these cookies do not require your prior consent, as the site cannot function without them.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| csrftoken | Security. Protects against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. | 1 year |
| sessionid | Authentication. Identifies your session once logged in. | 2 weeks |
| django_language | Preferences. Remembers your chosen language (FR, EN, PL). | 1 year |
| pf_cookie_consent_v2 | Consent. Remembers that you have dismissed the cookie banner. | 1 year |
Analytics & Tracking
We use the privacy-focused analytics service Radar (by taap.it) to track website usage. While this service operates entirely without depositing any cookies on your device, we only activate it if you explicitly click 'Okay, got it!' on our cookie banner. If you refuse or revoke your consent, the tracking script is completely disabled.
3. Managing Cookies
You can disable cookies directly in your browser settings. However, please note that disabling 'sessionid' or 'csrftoken' will prevent you from logging in or submitting forms on PokéFolio.
